State Employee PAC Endorses Candidates for Primary
RALEIGH - The State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) today announces bipartisan endorsements for the Primary Election on March 15. The endorsements are made through SEANC’s Employees Political Action Committee (EMPAC), which is a member-led subsidiary.
“SEANC members are proud to support candidates who share our beliefs in the importance of state employees and the work we do,” said statewide EMPAC Chairman Tony Smith.
The 41 bipartisan endorsements in races for the General Assembly are a result of recommendations from SEANC members at the district level. Those recommendations were then confirmed by the statewide committee on Saturday. Primary endorsements are made in competitive Primary Elections only. EMPAC will go through its endorsements process again in the fall for the General Election.
